Trekking the Alta Via 1 in Italy

Date: July 13-24, 2024

The Alta Via 1 is a 9-day, 8-night, 75-mile hut to hut trek in the Dolomites. Hut to hut treks are a unique way to experience the mountains on foot without carrying heavy gear. Each night we will stay in Rifugios where we will enjoy delicious hot meals, showers, and a fun communal atmosphere shared by people from all around the world. Hiking 75 miles will test your physical and mental strength - and it will be worth every moment! If hiking through some of the most stunning landscapes on Earth and eating home-cooked Italian meals sounds like a dream come true, join Melanie and her posse of wanderers on the AV1.

This trip is right for you if:

  • You love hiking and want to experience one of the best treks in the world with a fantastic group of people
  • You have experience hiking for multiple days in a row with a backpack
  • You can carry your own 20-30 lb backpack up and down seemingly endless hills
  • You are up for a physical and mental challenge!
  • You are committed to training - the more you train the more you enjoy the trek
  • You are confident and self-sufficient in the mountains (confident hiking over rough terrain and dealing with any weather that comes our way)
  • You have a positive attitude
  • You are comfortable staying in dorm-style accommodation (private rooms are generally not available)
  • You have done your research on the AV1 and you’re STOKED (and maybe a little nervous)
  • You have a passport that is valid until at least January 2025 or you plan to get it renewed

In the world of business, travel isn’t just about getting from point A to point B. It's about building relationships, fostering team spirit, and driving business growth. Executive group travel takes these objectives to the next level, offering unique opportunities that individual business trips can’t match. But is it the right choice for your team? Let’s dive into the details and find out. Understanding Executive Group Travel Executive group travel involves organizing trips for teams of executives to attend conferences, retreats, client meetings, or other business-related events. Unlike regular business travel, which typically focuses on individual itineraries, executive group travel is about the collective experience.
